Download Pinterest videos on PC and Mac
On a computer, copy the pin URL from the address bar, paste it in the box above and press Download. The MP4 goes to your Downloads folder in any browser, on Windows, macOS or Linux. For more than a couple of pins, the Chrome extension downloads a whole board into a folder you choose.

Three steps to download
Open the pin in your browser
Click the pin on pinterest.com so its own URL appears in the address bar — it looks like pinterest.com/pin/123456789/.
Copy the address
Ctrl+L then Ctrl+C on Windows and Linux, Cmd+L then Cmd+C on a Mac.
Paste and download
Paste it above, choose the highest resolution offered and click Download.
Find the file
It lands in Downloads. Ctrl+J (Cmd+J on Mac) opens the browser download list.
Which browser to use
All of them work — the download is a plain HTTP transfer. What changes is only where the file lands and whether extensions are available.

Downloading a whole board
This is where a computer beats a phone outright. With the extension installed, open the board, switch on selection mode, tick the pins you want and download them together. Files are named from a template — `{board}/{title} [{id}]` by default — so a hundred videos arrive organised instead of as a pile of numbers.
The site cannot do this: each pin goes through our server, so bulk downloading through it would be slow for you and expensive for us.
Changing the destination folder
Browsers save everything to one folder by default. In Chrome, Settings → Downloads → “Ask where to save each file” lets you choose per download. The extension has its own subfolder setting, which does not disturb your normal browsing downloads.

Do I need to install software?
No. The site works in any browser. The extension is optional and only useful for bulk downloads and private pins.
Does it work on Linux?
Yes, identically. The download is a normal HTTP transfer with no platform-specific code.
Can I download from the Pinterest desktop app?
